As a Security Compliance Solutions Architect at AWS, you will cultivate technical relationships with a diverse range of clients, acting as their trusted advisor to maximize their cloud experience throughout their journey.
Your role will involve managing the overall technical security relationship between AWS and our clients, offering insights on security, compliance, cost-effectiveness, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to expedite their complex projects.
Internally, you will represent the voice of the customer, conveying their needs to shape the future of AWS security services and features.
In this position, your innovative thinking will help create effective design patterns to tackle customer challenges, with the chance to define or develop cloud-native reference architectures for various applications.
You will engage in the development and dissemination of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts) while promoting and educating others about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences.
Additionally, you will manage relationships with selected top security partners of AWS, including Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Global System Integrators (GSIs).
Your responsibilities will also include leading key team initiatives, connecting with security teams across different regions to foster collaboration and share best practices.
This role is situated within the EMEA organization, primarily focusing on Enterprise clients.

This position will specifically address the security and compliance dimensions of AWS Services, assisting our clients and partners in developing innovative and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers: Collaborate with AWS account, training, and support teams to assist partners and clients in learning and utilizing AWS services such as Amazon Identity and Access Management (IAM), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Key Management System (KMS), CloudHSM, AWS Organizations, AWS Artifact, and AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF).
- Business partner: Serve as a vital member of the business development and account management team, ensuring customer success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- Public engagement: Provide thought leadership on analytics solutions that benefit clients through the use of AWS Services, contributing to external publications such as AWS Blogs, Whitepapers, and Reference architectures, or presenting at AWS Summits, AWS re:Invent, AWS User Groups, or industry events.
- Community contributor: Capture and share best practices, participating as a member of the global AWS technical community of Solution Architects, Professional Services Consultants, Technical Account Managers, and AWS Trainers.
- Service team liaison: Act as a bridge between AWS Service teams and clients, providing detailed guidance for the broader field organization and customers, advocating for customer needs with central teams.
