Strategic Procurement Leader

Mylight150 is a leading manufacturer of future energy solutions, developing technologies and software for solar self-consumption and energy management. We are at the forefront of photovoltaics and electricity consumption control. As a green electricity supplier to over 10,000 households, we develop tailored solutions to reduce home electricity bills by at least 50%. The group relies on a sales and distribution network to deliver our products to HVAC professionals and companies across France, Spain, Romania, and Switzerland.

We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee our global procurement and sales & operations planning. The VP of Procurement will lead all procurement activities, ensuring the efficient sourcing of components and services critical to production. This role will oversee the supplier base in China, driving cost efficiencies, mitigating risks, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement with business objectives, including Product, Logistics, and Finance. Key responsibilities include:

• Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and lead times. Oversee the drafting, review, and management of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy balancing cost, quality, and lead times. Select suppliers, qualify, and negotiate contracts. Establish KPIs for supplier quality (defect rates, product reliability, delivery performance...).
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners. Negotiate contracts, manage performance, and resolve any disputes to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Cost Management: Implement cost reduction initiatives, leveraging volume purchasing and strong negotiation skills. Conduct total cost analysis and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements throughout the supply chain.
• S&OP Management: Collaborate with the sales team to forecast customer demand and translate it into an actionable supply plan. Oversee the procurement team to ensure that the supply chain is aligned with the demand plan, especially managing lead times.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering and 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. They will have experience working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment with the ability to adapt to changing business needs. Key skills include:

• Knowledge of procurement strategies in China.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ability to drive procurement strategies that balance cost efficiency with quality and reliability.
• Strong leadership in building a procurement team capable of supporting rapid growth.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a complex, global supply chain environment.
