VP Procurement Leader

Mylight150 is a pioneering company in the energy transition, dedicated to making solar the primary energy source in Europe. As a key player in the industry, we develop innovative technologies and software for solar self-consumption and energy management.

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our global procurement strategy, ensuring the efficient sourcing of components and services critical to our production. The successful candidate will oversee the supplier base in China, driving cost efficiencies, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and lead times. Oversee the drafting, review, and management of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy balancing cost, quality, and lead times. Select suppliers, qualify, and negotiate contracts, establishing KPIs for supplier quality, risk management strategies, and promoting sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners, negotiating contracts, managing performance, and resolving disputes to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Cost Management: Implement cost reduction initiatives, leveraging volume purchasing and strong negotiation skills, conducting total cost analysis, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements throughout the supply chain.
• S&OP Management: Collaborate with the sales team to forecast customer demand and translate it into an actionable supply plan. Oversee the procurement team to ensure alignment with the demand plan, managing lead times, and developing contingency plans for different market or supply chain scenarios.
• Leadership & Team Development: Manage the procurement team, ensuring high performance and professional development, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering and 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of procurement strategies in China, with a proven track record in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
