Your Role: Pipefitting Team Leader
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitting Team Leader to join our team in Le Port. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of pipe fitters, ensuring the efficient execution of ship repair projects.
- Team Management: Supervise and guide a team of pipe fitters, both permanent and temporary staff members.
- Project Execution: Participate in work scheduling, task assignment, and objective setting to ensure project completion within deadlines.
- Communication & Compliance: Foster effective communication within the team, enforce internal rules and regulations, and conduct annual employee performance evaluations.
- Productivity & Collaboration: Monitor team productivity, collaborate with colleagues and subcontractors, and oversee stock levels to maintain smooth operations.
- Safety & Quality Assurance: Prioritize team and ship safety, implement quality control measures for all work performed, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Training & Development: Provide training opportunities to enhance team skills and share expertise within the department.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a technical background in pipe fitting/boilermaking and proven experience in a similar role. A strong understanding of ship repair practices is essential.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. They should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
