Job Summary
The Subsystem Lead Engineer is a key role within our Flow Control team, responsible for defining and leading engineering solutions for complex projects. As a technical expert, you will act as a referent for technical and technological solutions, ensuring compliance with our standards, procedures, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engineering solutions for Flow Control scope, including manifolds and subsea distribution.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and analyze risks associated with engineering tasks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Contribute to client relations through presentations, meetings, and interfaces.
- Support knowledge development within the discipline, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to engineers.
- Ensure engineering documents meet quality requirements, codes, and standards.
- Coordinate and direct discipline engineering work, including direct supervision of Subsea/Surface Engineers.
- Ensure discipline engineering deliverables are compliant with contract requirements, project QHSE plan, and TechnipFMC processes and standards.
- Approve design basis and coordinate design activities within discipline.
- Interface with other Lead Engineers and project support functions.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in the field, including 5 years of Project Engineering experience.
- Advanced technical skills in engineering.
- Advanced project management skills.
- Skillful communicator and negotiator.
- Excellent training and mentoring skills, and ability to work with international teams.
- Advanced planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding business challenges and what drives customer values.
- Excellent command of English.
