Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement underwriting strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  2. Analyze and evaluate treaty reinsurance business opportunities, including assessing risk and developing pricing models.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business plans, including marketing and sales strategies.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  1. 8+ years of experience in reinsurance underwriting, with a strong background in treaty reinsurance.
  2. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  4. Fluent French and English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
