Position Overview
The Core Enterprise & ZCloud division is one of Kyndryl's six key practices. As we continue our transformation, we seek a leader with a robust change-oriented mindset and a proven track record in establishing, developing, and overseeing a Managed and Consulting professional services organization.
In this pivotal role, you will be an integral part of the Kyndryl leadership team, responsible for enhancing our Managed Services business and spearheading the development of our Core Enterprise & ZCloud Consulting professional services capabilities, which encompass both advisory and implementation services.
Kyndryl holds a leading position in delivering Core Enterprise & ZCloud managed services on a global scale, particularly in France. We are currently accelerating our Kyndryl Consulting capabilities as part of a modernization initiative aimed at maximizing value for our clients.
This role involves close collaboration with our global and local executive teams across various functions, including go-to-market strategies, Kyndryl Consulting offerings, engineering, and service delivery, to further enhance our capabilities in this domain.
Given the growth potential in this area, success in this role hinges on strong customer relationships and the ability to foster collaboration across Kyndryl and our alliance partners. An entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with customer and consulting experience, as well as thought leadership in this sector, will be essential.
The Core Enterprise & ZCloud Practice Leader will drive the go-to-market strategy and own the framework for capturing and expanding market share while nurturing vibrant communities of technical expertise. Key responsibilities include:
- Defining the market strategy for the practice,
- Ensuring the development and scaling of skills and capacity,
- Achieving financial performance across the offering portfolio, from development through pre and post-sales,
- Cultivating market-leading capabilities.
The leader will also be responsible for the Talent and Workforce Strategy for the practice, which includes the economic model (competitiveness & margin), the end-to-end resource supply chain, and labor mix, as well as ownership of the delivery methodology, encompassing automation, tools, standards, and asset reuse.
Building strong relationships with C-suite clients is crucial, as is gaining industry insights to understand desired solution-oriented outcomes, with a portion of the role involving billable engagements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting pre-sales, branch management, and business development,
- Recognized external authority in the Mainframe Ecosystem,
- Proven experience in business development and sales accountability,
- Expertise in building organizational capabilities and coordinating business development and technical teams,
- Ability to formulate the business strategy for Kyndryl Consulting based on a comprehensive understanding of Kyndryl and practice strategies,
- Capacity to engage with internal and external organizations to enhance Kyndryl's capabilities in response to market demands,
- Strong relationship-building skills with senior IT and business leaders, leveraging connections within Kyndryl,
- Consultative skills and expertise in core systems,
- Commitment to customer value creation through innovation,
- A continuous learning mindset, demonstrating curiosity and passion for Kyndryl's technology and the clients' businesses,
- Proficiency in both French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
