We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Manager to join our team at TOTAL Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing credit risk across our trading activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze KYC and liquidity/financial solvency of each counterparty to ensure compliance with our credit policies.
- Draft summary notes, recommendations, and approvals for credit limits and terms for each counterparty.
- Monitor daily outstanding amounts in our information systems and identify exceptions to ensure compliance with credit limits and terms.
- Initiate hedging mechanisms, such as insurance and netting clauses, to mitigate risk.
- Contribute to the development and support of our trading activity within a secure framework.
- Control internal procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Gather and analyze market information, monitor counterparties, and set up alerts to identify potential risks.
- Calculate and update default rates for CVA/CVAR on our derivatives book.
- Conduct studies on the macro-economic and competitive environment of business sectors.
- Master's degree in Finance or equivalent.
- At least 6-10 years of experience in financial analysis in a bank or commodity trading company.
- Good knowledge of English, instruments used in international trade, and risk analysis.
- Proficiency in information tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and reporting tools including Power BI and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, availability, analytical skills, and ability to summarize, rigor, and responsiveness.
