About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barman/Femme to join our team at Babille. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have an unforgettable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the bar area, including ordering and stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Supervise and train junior staff members, including Demi-Barman and Commis de bar, to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and adhering to our high standards.
Develop and implement new cocktail recipes and menus to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
Process customer transactions and manage cash handling, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and operating a point-of-sale system.
Manage inventory and ordering, including tracking stock levels and placing orders with suppliers.
Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and cleaned, and that the bar area is kept clean and tidy.
Participate in the preparation and service of food and drinks, including taking orders and serving customers.
Contribute to the overall success of the restaurant, including participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of new ideas and initiatives.
Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, and that the bar area is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
Passion for the hospitality industry and experience working in a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
