Human Resources Management Intern

UNESCO is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join its Bureau of Human Resources Management as an intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources management and contribute to the organization's mission.
ResponsibilitiesThe intern will assist in various tasks, including:
- Contribute to the production of documents, working papers, and conceptual framework/concept notes on human resources management and development challenges.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support human resources initiatives.
- Assist in the development of technical support for new interventions or projects.
- Undertake research and reviews to produce parts of documents, presentations, and other materials.
- Contribute to the preparation of communication materials, including reports, briefs, and other documents.
- Participate in meetings and seminars to stay informed about human resources management best practices.
- Provide administrative and logistical support in the planning and organization of briefings, information sessions, workshops, and other events.
The internship aims to provide the intern with the opportunity to develop skills in human resources management, including:
- Data analysis and presentation.
- Project management in an international organization.
- Development and dissemination of communication materials.
- Verbal and written communication skills, including participating in meetings and presentations.
The intern will be expected to demonstrate the following competencies:

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must:
- Be at least 20 years old.
- Be currently enrolled in a graduate program (Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent) or have recently graduated with a Master's degree or PhD (or second degree as defined above).
- Have an excellent command of English or French, both written and spoken.
- Have a working knowledge of the other language (English or French) is an asset.
- Have excellent computer skills and knowledge of office-related software.
- Be able to work well in a team and adapt to an international working environment.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
UNESCO does not remunerate interns. Interns are entitled to 2.5 days of leave per month during their internship.
