Position Overview
We are seeking a Customer Support Engineer to assist our clients with the current and future deployment of tools at their locations.We welcome applications from recent graduates who can demonstrate strong practical skills and a commitment to excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Selected candidates will receive formal training at one of our renowned training facilities.
- Regular domestic and international travel will be part of the role.
- Accountable for customer service tasks related to the updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of complex capital equipment at client sites.
- Act as the representative of our organization, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the operational integrity of system equipment.
- Collaborate with clients to minimize downtime effectively.
- Assist Installation Engineers in resolving technical issues.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A certified engineer or a degree from a technical institution, or approximately three years of relevant industry experience.
- Capability to analyze and resolve issues in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or electro-optical systems to address client challenges.
- Experience with electronic systems in sectors such as semiconductor, medical devices, defense, aerospace, or aviation is advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven history of empathetic engagement with clients, ensuring a positive experience while fostering a collaborative atmosphere to meet their needs.
- A hands-on approach and enthusiasm for learning new skills.
- Proactive communication that enhances collaboration and effectively addresses client requirements.
- Fluency in English and French is essential.
- A valid driver's license is required.
