About the Job:
The Credit Manager will be responsible for managing client risk across the company's entities. This role will ensure optimal cash collection and minimize late payments, ensuring the development of the company's turnover. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Client recovery: Follow up on outstanding payments by entity, agency, sales representative, and client.
- Collaboration with the accounting department: Analyze client accounts and identify errors in accounting entries.
- Supervising client cash collection operations.
- Piloting follow-up actions with agencies and/or clients for late payments.
- Deploying and maintaining the credit recovery procedure.
- Defining and managing contentious procedures.
- Client invoicing: Processing and tracking digital invoices, preparing and sending invoices, and managing client invoicing operations.
- Covering clients: Authorizing or blocking client account openings, managing client account opening fees, setting and managing client account limits, and releasing outstanding payments based on client risk assessment.
- Managing client requests for outstanding payments with credit insurance companies and rating agencies.
- Preparing and following up on requests for derogations in case of client account refusals.
- Negotiating contracts with factoring and credit insurance companies.
- Managing requests for bank guarantees (if necessary).
- Supporting the sales team: Communicating with sales representatives on credit management issues, managing key tenders, and authorizing financial conditions for offers.
- Training and development: Providing training on credit management procedures and deploying new tools.
- Management: Animating and supporting a team member, with occasional travel required.
This role is based in Paris La Défense or Lyon.
About the Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with a higher education degree in accounting, finance, or management. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a similar role and a deep understanding of financial regulations, commercial and accounting mechanisms. The candidate should also have excellent knowledge of the law and be able to communicate effectively with the team. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and anticipate future needs to ensure optimal efficiency.
