Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer for General Installation to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for participating in projects from start to finish, working closely with customers, the team, and suppliers. Your main tasks will include:
Costing Phase
- Participating in responding to calls for tenders for general installation projects, including sheet metal work, piping, boiler, and pressure equipment, supports, structures, and metal frameworks.
- Researching and proposing solutions to best respond to calls for tender.
Business Realization Phase
- Participating in launch meetings with customers.
- Ensuring that projects run smoothly in accordance with cost estimates.
- Conducting on-site surveys as required.
- Supervising and actively participating in the realization of 3D design projects.
- Integrating technological equipment into projects.
- Supervising and controlling drawing and bill of materials production.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and normative requirements for welded and bolted constructions.
Requirements
- A 5-year degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years' experience as an engineer in a design office, new works office, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or Autodesk software (Inventor, Autocad Plant3D).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A pragmatic profile with a taste for the field.
- Appreciation for autonomy and freedom of action.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards.
- Industrial skills are an asset.
