Offshore Dynamic Positioning Specialist

Altea Energy is seeking a highly experienced Offshore Dynamic Positioning Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance in the area of DP assurance for critical offshore marine operations. Key responsibilities include reviewing vessels' DP documentation and standards against Company rules, issuing recommendations for corrective actions and/or improvements, and providing technical support and arguments for projects to have marine contractors implement the recommendations. Additionally, the candidate will conduct call for tender technical analysis and issue recommendations for contractor selection, and provide ad-hoc marine advice and consultancy as and when required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience as Master or Chief Engineer on a DP offshore support vessel/asset, hold or have held Merchant Marine Master or Chief Engineer certification (unlimited tonnage/power), and a minimum of 5 years of shore-based experience in an industry-leading marine consultancy company with a proven track record of leading DP proving trials on complex vessels.
