Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Support Specialist for Global Dynamic Positioning Assurance to join our team at D2M SERVICES.
Key Responsibilities
- Review vessels DP documentation and standards against Company rules and issue recommendations for corrective actions and/or improvements.
- Provide technical support and arguments for projects to have marine contractor implementing the recommendations.
- Conduct call for tender technical analysis and issue recommendations for contractor selection.
- Provide ad-hoc marine advice and consultancy as and when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience of at least half as Master or Chief Engineer on a DP offshore support vessel/asset.
- Fluent in English.
- Hold or have held Merchant Marine Master or Chief Engineer certification (unlimited tonnage / power).
- Hold or have held OVID accreditation will be considered as an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of shore-based experience in an industry leading marine consultancy company with proven track record of leading DP proving trials on complex vessels (e.g. drilling rigs, diving support or construction vessels).
What We Offer
Position to be filled in the Paris region with possible trips to Nigeria, Congo & Angola.
Duration: 12 months.
