The Bobigny facility is dedicated to the development of drivers and data controllers for visibility systems, catering to the global market.
The facility is seeking an Electronics Procurement Specialist M/F.
Your role involves identifying, sourcing, and managing a network of suppliers for your designated platform components, aligning with the Group's segment strategies.
As a vital member of the platform team:
You will participate in and contribute to platform meetings and decisions to ensure that the procurement strategy is fully integrated.
Your Responsibilities:
- Attend Project Meetings, leading and/or supporting all project activities involving procurement until project completion.
- Prepare sourcing strategies in accordance with segment strategies and regional considerations.
- Enforce procurement decisions or assist in arbitration among your network peers.
- Negotiate volumes, SOP, LTA, cost roadmaps, and price matrices globally, based on volume assumptions with segment panel suppliers, while monitoring and anticipating capacity risks.
- Evaluate pre-selected suppliers for risk impacts on the project concerning development or production capacity, technical or quality capabilities, and financial viability.
- Ensure the achievement of all project milestones related to suppliers and track progress through PQA stages, ensuring timely delivery of parts.
- Manage updates in Serial Life and engage platform resources to facilitate the qualification of changes with technical and customer networks, ensuring a smooth transition to serial production, including implementing productivity actions.
- Support project buyers utilizing platform components to ensure project alignment with: (i) commodity strategy, (ii) localization requirements of the receiving plant, (iii) global leverage and security of the supply base for the platform.
About You:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement.
- A Graduate Degree (engineering or master's) with a strong interest in the technical field.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, persuasive abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and negotiation expertise.
- Experience in Electronic Commodity Procurement is advantageous.
