Job Summary

Club Med is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our reception team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relay and implement directives and priorities set by the Reception Manager to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the reception.
  • Assist the Reception Manager in the organization and management of reception and coordination with other services, including housekeeping, restaurant, and maintenance.
  • Participate in the control and management of the reception till, deposit of valuables, and management of rooms and transfers.
  • Accompany and train the reception team to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Apply Club Med's quality standards, hygiene, and safety rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Promote internal sales, including overnight stays, room upgrades, and meals, to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.
  • Control and resolve all guest requests, comments, and incidents in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin or French is an added value.
