We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Economist to join our team at TOTAL Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our Asset Management team, you will be responsible for leading economic modelling and analysis to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement economic models to support investment decisions and risk analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify optimization opportunities and risks
- Supervise and onboard junior economists and asset managers
- Contribute to the development of TotalEnergies Renewables' Asset Management ambitions
- Build decision-making tools and work collaboratively with Structured Finance and M&A teams
- Master's degree in economics or finance
- At least 5 years of experience in economy/finance/renewables sector
- Fluent in English and French, with experience working in a multi-cultural/multi-site environment
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with a deep understanding of cash flows, IRR, and NPV calculations
- Proficiency in Excel and good scripting and programming skills (VBA a plus)
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written forms
As a Lead Economist at TOTAL Deutschland GmbH, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and diversified assets business models, interact with operational teams, and contribute to the development of our Asset Management ambitions.
