Position: Purchasing Assistant
As a Purchasing Assistant, you will collaborate closely with the Purchasing Manager, playing a vital role in various procurement activities. This position offers you the chance to acquire essential hands-on experience in sourcing and business enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Purchasing Manager in managing procurement processes and tracking orders.
- Engage in the selection and assessment of suppliers.
- Assist in negotiating purchasing conditions (cost, timelines, quality).
- Monitor and evaluate purchasing performance metrics.
- Help in formulating and executing purchasing strategies.
- Maintain supplier relationships and address any conflicts.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of procurement operations.
- Work in conjunction with other departments (production, logistics, quality) to ensure a seamless supply chain.
Qualifications:
- A keen interest in pursuing an MBA in Corporate Business Development Management.
- A strong passion for purchasing and procurement operations.
- Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Recognized for attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a preference for collaborative work. Proficiency in English is advantageous.
