Job Title: Global Category Manager for APac Europe

AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager for APac Europe to lead the procurement strategy for our Direct Categories/Insurance Procurement team. As a key member of our Global Sourcing & Procurement department, you will be responsible for managing third-party strategy and external operations for Information Technology Direct Categories/Insurance Procurement and Transversal/Indirect Categories and General Expenses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategies to deliver value to AXA XL and end-customers/intermediaries
  • Contribute to AXA XL profitability and revenue growth through the development of the product offering
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process in close cooperation with business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts
  • Understand needs definition, identify high-risk suppliers, and manage critical suppliers with the Third Party Risk Management team
  • Drive change via data analysis and stimulate innovation through market intelligence
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of procurement processes and methodologies, including supply markets with particular emphasis on Insurance, Claims, Legal, and Non-legal services
  • Good interpersonal skills, including internal influencing, stakeholder management, and persuasiveness in an international environment
  • Team player with the ability to work in a team environment to deliver strategic goals
