About the Job:
As a Transport Buyer, you will be responsible for executing all activities relevant to estimating, preparing project procedures, and preparing and issuing Transport Service Orders (TSOs) to Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) in Proposal, Feed, and EPC contracts.
You will work in strict coordination with the Project Transport Manager (TM) for all matters related to project procedures, TSO implementation, revision, and cost monitoring.
The Role and Responsibilities:
- Implementing the Transport Project Execution Plan
- Assessing transport feasibility and planning transport operations
- Preparing transport cost estimations jointly with the Transport Estimation Section Head
- Preparing project procedures and transport specifications
- Performing due diligence on LSPs
- Preparing inquiry packages and launching ITBs to LSPs through online tools
- Preparing and issuing technical and commercial bid tabulations
- Conducting negotiations with LSPs
- Preparing and issuing TSOs and amendments
- Assigning transport prices in IT tools
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a technical or international business diploma and a minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding.
