Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Interior Train Designer to join our team. As an Interior Train Designer, you will be responsible for designing and drawing interior parts of trains using Catia V5 and DMA, taking into consideration inputs such as weight, acoustics, eco design, aerodynamics, and aeraulics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and draw interior parts of trains using Catia V5 and DMA.
- Deploy and apply project Train Design development procedures, catalogue, and standard solutions.
- Optimize parts design to reach recurring and non-recurring costs targets and ensure committed planning.
- Work with external engineering sub-contractors and site CAD engineers.
- Check digital mock-up consistency (no interferences, equipment localisation and volume, interfaces).
- Prepare design review elements with Lead Engineer support.
Requirements:
- Engineer educational background.
- Minimum 2 years experience in design of mechanical parts.
- Excellent skills in CATIA V5.
- Better if knowledge of DMA.
