We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Accountant to join our dynamic team at AXA. As a key member of our Group Ceded Reinsurance department, you will play a vital role in shaping our reinsurance strategy, analyzing and managing risks, and safeguarding the Group's financial stability.
As a Reinsurance Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative, accounting, and financial management of P&C and Life reinsurance portfolios within your designated area. This includes collaborating with the underwriting team to process and record contractual data, monitoring, verifying, and processing reinsurance accounts received from ceding companies, and ensuring their consistency and conformity with contractual terms.
You will also be an advisor to the cedents and facilitate the production and transmission of reinsurance accounts, manage settlements, and oversee the financial transactions of third parties to ensure smooth cash flow.
Requirements- 5-7 years of technical insurance/reinsurance accounting experience
- Solid understanding of insurance concepts
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Able to efficiently utilize computer tools and manage data in computer systems
- Autonomy, thoroughness, and proactive communication skills
