Job Title: Director of Finance & Business Support

Accor is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance & Business Support to provide strategic leadership and functional guidance to Operations Leaders, Partners, Executive Committees, and Department Heads for optimal business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation and implementation of business partnering culture to achieve optimal operating performance and returns for Accor and our owners.
  • Development and management of key relationships with division heads and senior managers to provide financial support and understanding of short and long-term financial plans.
  • Development of business acumen of all levels of resort leadership teams to ensure they understand the impact of every component on the business as a whole.
  • Promotion, drive, and maximization of GOP Theoretical Flow Through concept across resort.
  • Analysis and interpretation of financial data and communication of meaningful variations in operations.
  • Development and implementation of benchmarking techniques to enhance revenues while improving productivity and cost efficiencies.
  • Preparation of annual budget, capital budgets, and rolling forecasts in conjunction with Regional Director of Finance, VP of Finance, RVP, and resort General Manager.
  • Reporting of accurate and complete financial and management reports on a timely basis.
  • Development, maintenance, and adherence to a single chart of accounts, payroll, and expense dictionary.
Requirements:
  • Accounting designation, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of work experience as a Director of Finance, preferably in multiple progressive, in size and complexity hotel to include all areas of finance and accounting.
  • Previous experience managing complex hotel, resort, or membership units an asset.
  • Ability to assess and understand a variety of internal and external economic and financial issues which impact the business.
  • Experience in leading & developing people and multiple teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to address all levels within the organization.
