Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Piping Specialist
About the Role:
- Contribute to the engineering department of a world-renowned industrial services leader.
- Be responsible for producing piping calculation reports and analyzing network flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform piping flexibility calculations in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Model, analyze, and solve technical issues related to piping systems.
- Prepare and review calculation reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct stress and fatigue analyses of piping systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with design and project teams to optimize technical solutions and improve piping systems.
- Ensure piping systems meet nuclear safety requirements and regulatory standards.
- Participate in design reviews and project meetings to provide expert input and guidance.
- Suggest improvements and innovative solutions for piping systems to enhance performance and safety.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a specialization in nuclear engineering.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in piping calculation within the nuclear sector.
- Be proficient in Pipestress software and have a strong understanding of piping systems and nuclear safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
