The ideal candidate will possess a strong operational focus, adaptability, and proven leadership capabilities, demonstrating a flexible approach in a dynamic environment. Reporting to the Spanish General Manager, this position is integral to the management team overseeing Ryanair's Engineering Line Stations throughout France. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOGs, and liaising with third parties.
- Planning manpower needs, managing recruitment, retention, and staff performance.
- Ensuring availability of necessary spares and equipment at all locations.
- Conducting regular site visits to uphold staff welfare and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (EASA).
- Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports, and Non-Compliances, implementing preventive strategies.
- Collaborating with all stakeholders to minimize AOGs and Hills on aircraft.
- Managing the planning schedule for each base (OPO, LIS, FAO).
- Assisting in maintaining records for EASA Part 66 License applications.
- Analyzing and managing internal promotions.
- Coordinating manpower for training initiatives.
- Handling Human Resources tasks such as annual leave and monthly scheduling.
- Updating management on upcoming developments.
- Preparing for internal and external audits.
- Participating in audits and addressing any findings.
We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is prepared to lead technical teams in a varied and rapidly evolving environment. The successful candidate should demonstrate:
- Exceptional time management skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities while effectively communicating progress to senior management.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven leadership experience, with the capability to manage diverse teams remotely.
- Previous experience in Aviation Maintenance (EASA Part 145) is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Full proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Applicants must possess unrestricted right-to-work status in the EU, hold a valid Driving License, and be willing to travel across various bases.
