With a robust fleet exceeding 500 aircraft and cutting-edge facilities, Ryanair is committed to providing outstanding career growth and development opportunities within the aviation sector.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong operational focus, adaptability, and proven leadership capabilities, demonstrating a flexible approach in a dynamic environment. Reporting to the Spanish General Manager, this position is integral to the management team overseeing Ryanair's Engineering Line Stations throughout France. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOGs, and liaising with third parties.
  2. Planning manpower needs, managing recruitment, retention, and staff performance.
  3. Ensuring availability of necessary spares and equipment at all locations.
  4. Conducting regular site visits to uphold staff welfare and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (EASA).
  5. Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports, and Non-Compliances, implementing preventive strategies.
  6. Collaborating with all stakeholders to minimize AOGs and Hills on aircraft.
  7. Managing the planning schedule for each base (OPO, LIS, FAO).
  8. Assisting in maintaining records for EASA Part 66 License applications.
  9. Analyzing and managing internal promotions.
  10. Coordinating manpower for training initiatives.
  11. Handling Human Resources tasks such as annual leave and monthly scheduling.
  12. Updating management on upcoming developments.
  13. Preparing for internal and external audits.
  14. Participating in audits and addressing any findings.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is prepared to lead technical teams in a varied and rapidly evolving environment. The successful candidate should demonstrate:

  1. Exceptional time management skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities while effectively communicating progress to senior management.
  2. Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  3. Proven leadership experience, with the capability to manage diverse teams remotely.
  4. Previous experience in Aviation Maintenance (EASA Part 145) is beneficial but not mandatory.
  5. Full proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer).
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Applicants must possess unrestricted right-to-work status in the EU, hold a valid Driving License, and be willing to travel across various bases.
