About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Manager & DPO to join our Legal and Compliance Team at Deezer. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with data protection regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for staff members, regulators, and public authorities on data protection matters.
  • Ensure Deezer's policies and procedures are in compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
  • Evaluate and rectify areas of non-compliance, updating internal policies and procedures as needed.
  • Develop and implement training plans for staff members on data protection.
  • Advise the data controller and processor on data protection matters.
  • Promote a culture of data protection and compliance across the organization.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts related to Deezer's commercial activities.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in IP/IT/Data.
  • ~5+ years of experience in data protection compliance.
  • High negotiation and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
