Deezer, a global music streaming platform, is seeking a Senior Legal Manager & DPO to join its Legal and Compliance Team.
The team is responsible for ensuring Deezer's compliance with legal obligations, particularly regarding the protection of personal data.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data protection compliance and experience in managing sensitive and confidential information.
Key responsibilities include ensuring that Deezer policies are in compliance with codes of practice such as GDPR, evaluating the existing data protection framework, and devising training plans for staff members.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for drafting and negotiating various contracts relating to Deezer's commercial activities throughout the world and managing litigations related to Deezer's B2C and B2B activities.
A Master's Degree in IP/IT/Data and ~5+ years of experience in data protection compliance are required.
Deezer offers a range of benefits, including multiple e-learnings and mandatory training sessions for all managers, English and French courses for all, and a hybrid remote work policy.
