The Limoges facility, renowned for its expertise in aseptic filling, operates as our Center of Excellence in Biotechnology for the European market, concentrating on clinical activities up to phase 3. We are seeking a Lead Project Coordinator to contribute to the expansion of Limoges.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Project Management, the Lead Project Coordinator (LPC) will be responsible for identifying, proposing, executing, and overseeing various aspects of the portfolio to align with the strategic objectives of the Product Development department. The LPC will establish project/program requirements, define the scope, and supervise the contributions of subject matter experts assigned to the project/program. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the drug development process within a regulated environment. Furthermore, they will pinpoint and implement opportunities to enhance or streamline project management processes while maintaining the financial targets of the assigned project/program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely delivery of development projects (scope, timeline, budget) within the Product Development portfolio.
  • Cultivate and sustain essential partnerships within Product Development, as well as with external organizations and partners/customers.
  • Communicate effectively and promptly with management and other departments to ensure a clear understanding of project/program status, risks, actions, and outcomes.
  • Design, coordinate, and manage the logistical aspects of development projects across various functions.
  • Utilize and enhance measurable metrics to assess project status and ensure objectives are met from inception to completion.
  • Oversee the design, coordination, and management of multiple programs at the departmental level to fulfill scope and timeline requirements.
  • Manage project/program activities throughout their lifecycle by effectively applying the GATE review process and project team structure.
  • Ensure staff awareness and comprehension of Catalent's strategy, initiatives, expectations, processes, and portfolio status.

Candidate Profile:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration (Marketing), Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in both English and French.
  • Previous experience in project management within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Proven ability to navigate various levels of pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing challenges from development to program launch.
  • Strong negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional ability to create and facilitate meetings, feedback sessions, and briefings to achieve consensus among stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects and executing project management methodologies.
