At ArcelorMittal, we're seeking a highly skilled HPC Engineer to join our team at the Maizières-Lès-Metz R&D site. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance computing clusters tailored to the specific needs of our researchers.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and design HPC clusters to meet the needs of our researchers
- Select and implement the most appropriate hardware and software components
- Optimize applications for performance on HPC architectures
- Maintain and upgrade infrastructure, including management of backups and security
- Provide user support and training
- Manage performance and implement monitoring tools
- Perform technological watch on the latest advancements in HPC
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in computer science or related field
- Significant experience in Linux/Unix system administration
- Strong knowledge of HPC tools and libraries
- Ability to manage cluster systems and knowledge of processor architectures and high-performance networks
