RCM is seeking a skilled automotive body painter (M/F) to enhance our service offerings. In this role, you will be tasked with restoring and refinishing vehicles that have sustained damage. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing vehicle damage and identifying required repairs.
- Utilizing manual tools and specialized equipment to repair vehicle bodies.
- Preparing surfaces for painting by eliminating rust, sanding, and cleaning.
- Applying paint using both spray and brush methods.
- Conducting regular quality inspections to ensure high standards of work.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a qualification in automotive bodywork or equivalent vocational training, along with prior experience in a similar position. A thorough understanding of body repair and painting methodologies, knowledge of safety protocols for chemical handling, and strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential. The ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines is also important.
