About the Opportunity
Worldline, the European leader in the payment and transactional services industry, is seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist to join its M&A team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a well-experienced team in an ambitious group and in a very dynamic sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets in line with Group strategy
- Conduct financial analysis and valuation of targets
- Develop business cases and assess synergies
- Structure transactions and prepare memos/presentations for top management and the board/strategic committees
- Organize and manage due diligence, negotiate transactional documentation, and oversee post-transaction follow-up
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or finance, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in M&A/Corporate Finance
- Fluent French and English, with a second language a plus
- Strong financial analysis and project management skills, with experience in managing internal and external stakeholders
- Good understanding of the fintech sector, including payments, technologies, telecom, high tech, internet, and more
