Completions and Subsea Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Completions, Intervention, and Subsea Engineer to join our Drilling and Wells team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in engineering and a petroleum engineering degree.
The successful candidate will be fluent in English and have a strong understanding of TotalEnergies' operations and procedures.
The position is based in Pau, France, but the candidate will be required to undertake missions within and outside of France.
Main Responsibilities- Lead all HSE aspects of operations and strive for an incident-free environment.
- Implement completion, workover, or subsea interventions programs in line with TotalEnergies' referential.
- Manage service companies on-site and coordinate activities.
- Report operational outcomes and liaise with the base.
- Contribute to the Drilling Improvement Process to improve operational efficiency.
After gaining experience on-site, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply for a position on a resident basis, either in an affiliate or at Headquarters.
- Carry out completion, workover, or subsea intervention engineering studies.
- Support ongoing completions, workover, subsea, and intervention projects in subsidiaries.
- Prepare technical documents and participate in meetings/presentations with authorities and partners.
- Follow up project planning and ensure technical procedures and referential are followed.
- Contribute to daily operations follow-up (cost, performance...) and propose improvements.
- Participate in goods and services calls for tenders, writing technical specifications, and evaluating technical proposals.
