Your Role and Responsibilities
Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks or sequences of tasks for innovative projects with complex features. Assists in creating proposals for projects through coordination of proposal documents and engineering estimates. Supports Contract Manager in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.). Creates work plans and cost estimates in one's area of responsibility. Evaluates risks and opportunities, strategizes mitigation of one's engineering projects/programs. Interacts with customers, contractors, suppliers. Oversees the creation of subcontracts and manages subcontractors jointly with other involved functions, including supply chain management. Collaborates and networks with engineering colleagues within the company.
Qualifications for the Role
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Mechanics specialization.
- Over 5 years of experience preferably in the Automotive sector, in Engineering/Project management positions.
- Basic knowledge of Robotics in industrial environments.
- Knowledge in International Controls standards/regulations (ACTIF) and knowledge on programmatic safety devices.
- Electrical clearance needed: B0, B2V, B2V ESSAI, BC, H0V (could be done at arrival).
- Good level of English and French: speaking and writing.
- No obstacles for traveling (short business travels, worldwide).
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety, and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
