Apave is in search of a Business Manager specializing in Construction Technical Inspection for a permanent role dedicated to serving our clients.

Within the Normandy Infrastructures & Construction Agency (Caen), our technical team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients can operate safely, thereby contributing to the growth of the Apave Group across various regions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executing technical control assignments for construction projects from the design stage through to project completion.
  • Engaging in diverse construction sectors, including real estate development, industrial and commercial buildings, public and private structures, new constructions, renovations, and expansions.
  • Conducting risk assessments based on design documentation.
  • Delivering technical evaluations regarding structural integrity, adherence to safety regulations, and building accessibility.
  • Validating engineering calculations and plans in collaboration with engineering firms, architects, and project owners.
  • Overseeing compliance during the execution phase through site inspections.
  • Compiling reports for clients.

As a Business Manager, your role will involve:

  • Managing your client portfolio by promoting your projects and contributing to the growth of the unit's activities.
  • Coordinating the involvement of various Apave specialists on the projects you oversee.
  • Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, profitability, and quality of service.
  • Building a professional network with project owners, engineering firms, and construction companies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Building or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a business manager, preferably in a consulting or control firm.
  • Skills and Attributes: Technical proficiency, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, methodical approach, and willingness to travel.
