Apave is seeking a Business Manager specializing in Construction Technical Inspection for a permanent role dedicated to serving our clients.

In our Normandy Infrastructures & Construction Agency (Caen), the technical team is pivotal: ensuring our clients can perform their duties safely while fostering the growth of the Apave Group within the community.

Your core responsibilities will encompass:

  • Executing technical oversight missions for construction projects from the design stage through to project completion.
  • Engaging in various construction sectors including real estate development, industrial or commercial buildings, public or private structures, new constructions, renovations, and expansions.
  • Conducting risk assessments based on design documentation.
  • Delivering technical evaluations regarding structural integrity, adherence to safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
  • Validating engineering calculations and plans in collaboration with engineering firms, architects, and project owners.
  • Monitoring compliance during the construction phase through site inspections.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports for clients.

As a Business Manager, your role will involve:

  • Overseeing your client portfolio by promoting your projects and contributing to the growth of the unit's activities.
  • Coordinating the involvement of various Apave specialists on the projects you manage.
  • Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, profitability, and quality of service.
  • Building a professional network with project owners, engineering firms, and construction companies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Building or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a business manager, preferably in a consulting or control firm.
  • Skills and Attributes: Technical aptitude, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, methodical approach, and willingness to travel.
