About the Role
Groupe Vicat is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Commercial to join our Commercial team. As an Assistant Commercial, you will play a key role in supporting our sales efforts and ensuring the smooth execution of commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product information.
- Process and manage customer orders, including entering orders into our system, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Assist in the preparation of sales reports, including analyzing sales data and identifying trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales materials, updating sales records, and performing other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial or sales role, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial practices, including sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of commercial software and systems, including SAP and CRM.
- Experience working in a team environment and contributing to team goals and objectives.
