Position: Lead Agricultural Expenditure Audit Project
The Ministère de l-Économie, des Finances et de la Souveraineté industrielle et numérique is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead an important audit project focused on agricultural expenditure within the framework of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of performance reporting procedures for the preparation of the annual performance report. You will play a crucial part in shaping the audit methodology for information systems involved in producing this report, collaborating with other audit teams and potential contractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and implement a robust audit method for information systems related to agricultural expenditure reporting, ensuring alignment with other audit teams and European Commission guidelines.
- Oversee the quality, completeness, and integrity of raw data submitted to the ASP (MCFA / DP LDA) in JSON format on the Agricultural Data Lake file exchange platform (PFE).
- Coordinate and manage a team of two SIGC auditors, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
- Develop an audit report based on a strategy defined by the audit team, adhering to international audit standards translated by the European Commission.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within the ASP and external partners to ensure a comprehensive and effective audit process.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of agricultural expenditure audit techniques, project management principles, and data analysis methodologies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
- Proven experience in auditing, particularly within the agricultural sector.
- Strong knowledge of international audit standards and European Commission guidelines.
- Experience managing and leading teams of auditors.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques and statistical reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
