About the Role
ThunderSoft Europe is seeking an experienced Android Driver Developer to join our team in Germany. As an Android Driver Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile devices by developing and testing Android drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct recurring stress tests on Android mobile phones and fusion products to identify and resolve online problems.
- Analyze fault logs from users, troubleshoot codes, and locate the root cause of problems independently or with the assistance of the headquarter.
- Collaborate with the R&D department in headquarter to deploy problem analysis and locating tools, and build problem locating capabilities.
- Travel to user sites to resolve user problems when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Communication, Electronics, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Java, C/C++ programming languages, and knowledge of Linux operating system and Android SDK.
- At least 1-5 years of experience in Linux driver development, with experience in developing multiple types of drivers (e.g., HDM, LCD, touch, camera, USB, bt/wifi/GPS, sensor, power).
- Familiarity with Android driver debugging processes and experience in systematic problem analysis, handling, and debugging.
- Knowledge of the Android platform and experience in Android application and framework development.
- Familiarity with Android debug tools (e.g., ADB, Systrace, Serial tools) and Android log analysis capabilities.
- Fluency in both written and verbal English, with great Chinese communication skills.
About the Project
The client is a top mobile phone manufacturer in China. This is an onsite project, and engineers will work in the customer's office in Germany. Occasionally, engineers may need to travel to user sites for short business trips to debug issues.
