Our Mission

The Global Projects Centre (GPC) is Subsea 7's center of excellence for executing large-scale projects worldwide. As a key member of our Installation Methods department, you will play a crucial role in the installation of subsea structures, floating wind structures, mooring systems, and other critical infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of engineers and oversee the installation of subsea structures, floating wind structures, mooring systems, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Interface with clients, suppliers, offshore crews, and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare scope documents and support offshore operations to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Develop and implement procedures for transportation, installation, and validation of products.
  • Participate in vessel mobilization and installation phases to validate technical solutions and ensure compliance with Group HSEQ standards.
  • Ensure that project activities are conducted in accordance with Project standards in terms of Quality, Cost, and Time.
  • Act as the technical owner and oversee the selection of contractors and subcontracted studies.
  • Validate concepts and manage changes while considering HSEQ criteria.
  • Develop and propose improvements to existing processes, taking into account Group HSEQ standards.
  • Contribute to the development and progression of our team and the consolidation of expertise within the installation team.
  • Promote innovative solutions to reduce costs and improve project efficiency.

Your Profile

  • Engineering degree with 7-8 years of work experience in the Petroleum or Offshore Wind sector.
  • Previous experience in Subsea Structures Installation and/or Flexible Flowlines/Umbilicals, Mooring Installation is desirable.
  • Renewables Floating wind and other relevant experience is desirable.
  • Experience of Site and Offshore Operations.
  • Autonomy, coordination, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Experience leading teams and good communication skills in English, both verbally and written.

Working Conditions

  • Most work is carried out in the home office site (based in Suresnes – France).
  • Requirement for some international travel.
  • Offshore/Off-site location during project execution phases as required.
