We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Pipeline Group team at our Paris office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of installation engineers and supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the installation engineering team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of method engineers to follow project scope(s) from early engagement with clients through to offshore execution.
- Provide technical reference for pipeline installation and contribute to subcontractor selection.
- Produce installation method statements and procedures, support procurement activities, and subcontract follow-up.
- Assist in installation rigging calculations and rigging design.
- Support Tendering department with feasibility studies, method statements, manhour estimates, schedule inputs, and costing support.
- Support installation aid procurement, fabrication, and testing follow-up.
- Follow project scope offshore on our installation vessels.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Marine, Naval, Offshore Technology, Civil, or Mechanical.
- Relevant experience as a project engineer in a subsea engineering field, ideally within an offshore pipeline installation role, particularly in the reel lay discipline.
- Experience guiding and leading teams of engineers in project scopes.
- Clear communication skills, able to speak with all levels within the business.
