About the Role

The Retail Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in driving business success with retail partners. As a key member of the Brooks Sports team, you will collaborate with the local Sales and Marketing team and the EMEA Retail team to develop and execute retail marketing plans that ensure a seamless delivery of seasonal brand stories and in-store activations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Tech Rep Manager, Sales Reps, and Tech Reps to develop retail marketing strategies for POS and seasonal launch plans.
  • Plan, present, and activate retail marketing plans for retailer account segmentation based on seasonal demand and sales plans for France, aligned with EMEA directives.
  • Develop and execute retail marketing activities for key retailers and standard POS programs.
  • Execute project requests for in-store retail, including shop-in-shop, corner, permanent, or semi-permanent executions.
  • Ensure brand visibility on retailer websites, including brand pages, product detail pages, and reviews programs.
  • Maintain consistent and continuous visibility of the Brooks brand and products at POS, including brick-and-mortar, online, social, PR, retail events, and continuous marketing support for Sales and Tech Reps to drive sell-through.
  • Plan and execute in collaboration with sales and tech rep teams activations to support sell-out.
  • Organize retailer events, including product launches, retailer invitations, and floor staff training.
  • Travel with Sales and Marketing management to account meetings and trade shows for retail marketing presentations and other commitments.
  • Support end-consumer events, such as Brooks Tours and try-ons.
  • Liaise with the EMEA Marketing team to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met on time.
  • Plan and monitor respective account marketing budgets under the direction of the Retail Marketing Manager.
  • Stay up-to-date on new POS tools, particularly digital retail tools, and identify potential opportunities to innovate or improve existing processes.
  • Collaborate closely with other French marketing departments, including Online/Social, PR, Event, and Design, to ensure consistent and continuous brand messaging.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in business or marketing) or apprenticeship in trade.
  • 3+ years of relevant sales and/or marketing experience (brand, footwear, retail, and lifestyle experience).
  • Fluency in French (absolute must), advanced level in English.
  • Good understanding of brand building and integrated marketing approaches.
  • Proven experience in cooperation with sales and retail marketing.
  • Readiness to travel and attend meetings and events with customers.
  • Able to generate new ideas and creative solutions.
  • Drive, energetic, trend-conscious, sport-savvy.
  • Flexibility to work on own initiative or within team and cross-functional framework.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and get the job done when needed (hands-on mentality).
  • Good knowledge of software: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, (Graphic program a plus).
  • Passionate participation in Brooks' sports activities is a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner to develop loyal engaging relationships with customers and the Brooks' community.

  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • Driving car's license.
