Corporate Procurement Category Manager

Embark on a thrilling journey with Hendrix Genetics, a rapidly growing international company, as a Corporate Procurement Category Manager. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the growth and performance of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage two direct reports: François, junior buyer, and Maëliss, purchasing intern.
- Contribute to the Procurement transformation by promoting the adoption of new practices and fostering innovation.
- Deploy the group purchasing strategy and support the development, alignment, and implementation of the category strategy.
- Manage purchasing projects, identify new purchasing opportunities, and analyze expenses in coordination with internal stakeholders and finance.
- Play a key role in supplier identification, development, and relationship management, driving negotiations and tenders on regional and global scales.
- Contribute to the Group's financial results by developing and implementing a performance management plan and providing regular reporting to the group purchasing director, internal stakeholders, and finance.
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within international corporations.
- Expertise in negotiation and supplier relations, with knowledge of supply chain management, purchasing, and procurement.
- Strong analytical skills, experience in team and change management, project management, and proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

The recruitment process involves a phone interview, a meeting with the Group Purchasing Director and Operational Excellence Director, a personality test, and a contract signing.
