Job Title: Senior Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to lead a critical project in the development of cutting-edge communication technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic systems for our space-based IoT platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop PCBA requirements in collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
  • Lead the design, development, and testing of electronic systems, including laser drivers and receivers, power supplies, TIAs, filters, and high-speed DACs/ADCs.
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
  • PCBA design verification testing and system integration testing.
  • Apply electronics expertise to develop, implement, and optimize systems, while integrating RF knowledge into the design and troubleshooting processes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems with other project components.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and testing of electronics, identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Document design processes, test results, and provide comprehensive reports to support project milestones and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong background in electronics and practical knowledge of RF systems.
  • 7+ years of experience in electronics circuit design, analysis, simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing.
  • Proven experience in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems, preferably in the context of communication technologies or related industries.
  • Proficiency performing circuit analyses in signal integrity tools (SPICE).
  • Proficiency in PCB design and layout tools (Altium Designer preferred).
  • Proficiency with electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering iron, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electronic and RF systems.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively share insights, test results, and collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive and innovative approach, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of electronics and RF technologies.
