Junior Legal Advisor

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing financing arrangements and providing assistance with negotiations of their terms and conditions. They will also provide legal guidance on the interpretation and application of OECD internal rules, particularly the Financial Regulations and Instructions, and other relevant norms.
Additionally, the candidate will conduct research and analysis on various legal topics, draft legal opinions and documents, and participate in meetings and consultations with internal stakeholders and external counterparts.
They will also maintain organized records and documentation of legal matters, including contract terms and legal research, to ensure easy access and reference.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a postgraduate university degree in law and at least two years of relevant professional experience in contract drafting and negotiation. Experience working with the two main legal systems of relevance to the Organisation (civil and common law) and/or laws relating to intellectual property, personal data protection issues, and new technologies/internet would be an advantage.
The candidate will also have an excellent written and oral command of one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level. Ability to verify the equivalence of texts in both languages is also required.
