- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization’s objectives.
- Oversee and mentor a team of five procurement professionals.
- Establish performance targets, provide training, and facilitate skill enhancement for team members.
- Ensure adherence to procurement processes and best practices across all departments.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and address any quality or safety concerns that arise.
- Prepare and oversee the departmental budget, monitoring financial trends.
- Implement and assess procurement performance metrics, reporting findings to the Management Committee.
- Uphold procurement protocols with diligence.
- Engage with various business units to advocate for optimal procurement practices and evaluate the current supplier network.
- Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.
- Directly manage a substantial procurement portfolio, including raw materials, intellectual services, and waste management solutions.
Candidate Profile: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as technical studies, business administration, or procurement, coupled with at least 15 years of experience in purchasing within an industrial and global context, including leadership experience. In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and contract law is essential. Proficiency in English is required.
