At Fugro, we are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in assisting our Senior Geotechnical Engineers with site characterisation for structures in or on the seabed.
Your Role:- Participate in offshore fieldwork on geotechnical vessels, processing and interpreting in situ tests, and describing and testing soil and/or rock samples.
- Manage the acquisition, analysis, engineering, and interpretation of geotechnical data to provide accurate and customised services to our clients.
- Provide geotechnical advice independently in straightforward contexts and collaborate with Senior Geotechnical Engineers on complex projects.
- Evaluate test results, perform engineering analyses, and compile reports for our clients.
- BSc or MSc degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geology, with a minimum of two years of relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of soil investigation, soil mechanics, and foundation engineering.
- Excellent communication and language skills in English, with French considered a plus.
- Hands-on mentality, pro-active, analytical, and able to interact with others effectively.
- Organised, autonomous, rigorous, and detail-oriented.
- Understanding of QHSSE and processes.
- A dynamic and inclusive working atmosphere in a consulting company part of a large international group.
- A challenging and varied job in an internationally orientated and innovating company.
- A gross salary between 2800 and 3000 Euros/month (excluding offshore allowances).
