Solplanet is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, and we are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, repairing, and maintaining our solar inverters and associated communication equipment. You will also provide technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about renewable energy and has a strong background in electrical engineering. If you are a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, commission, repair, and maintain solar inverters and associated communication equipment
  • Provide technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site
  • Perform refresher activities as a result of Solplanet product developments
  • Complete operations on time and on budget
  • Represent the company at customer sites and be a customer contact
  • Train customers or partners on commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades
  • Verify compliance of equipment used
  • Follow defined and documented business processes and procedures
  • Issue intervention reports to customers and internally within the organization
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Electrical Hazards Training
  • Knowledge of inverters and the photovoltaic sector is preferred
  • Native in French, and good English knowledge
  • Ability to interact with different departments (Sales, Products) and cultures
  • Willingness to take responsibility in the medium term
  • Adaptability and rigour
  • Willing to travel, nationally and internationally
