At Alstom, we're committed to creating a sustainable future for transportation. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing the interior parts of our trains, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:- Design and draw interior parts using Catia V5 and DMA, considering factors like weight, acoustics, eco-design, aerodynamics, and aeraulics
- Implement and apply project Train Design development procedures, catalogue, and standard solutions
- Optimize part design to achieve recurring and non-recurring costs targets and meet committed planning
- Collaborate with external engineering sub-contractors and site CAD engineers
- Verify digital mock-up consistency, ensuring no interferences, equipment localization, and volume
- Prepare design review elements with Lead Engineer support
- Engineer educational background
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical part design
- Excellent skills in CATIA V5
- Better if knowledge of DMA
- English language proficiency
