Data Center Logistics Coordinator

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload shipments of IT equipment, spare parts, and racks.
- Handle incoming shipments, including unpacking boxes, performing checks, and moving them to designated locations.
- Prepare and check-out parts as needed by Data Center Technicians.
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels for build and repair activities.
- Operate the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process and receive replacements.
- Organize and perform scheduled deliveries and pick-ups to and from various locations.
- Adhere to strict safety and security standards and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.
- Collaborate with external vendors to coordinate the supply of equipment and manage logistics-related contracts.
- Rack receiving and pre-staging process.
- At least 5 years' successful experience in logistics.
- Ability to read and take direction in English.
- Ability to push or pull heavy objects into position.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Proficient with computers and office suite (e.g. Google Workspace).
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving, inventory, and warehousing practices.
- Knowledge of IT Industry Logistics would be an advantage.
- Punctuality; excellent organizational skills for orderliness; and ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure department objectives are met.
- Demonstrated positive work attitude and committed to delivering quality work.
- Work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.
- Lift loads up to 20 Kg / 45 lb and carry them for short distances.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments.
- Work with and/or around moving mechanical equipment/parts.
- Work in a noisy environment.
- Temperatures of technical areas vary between 15°C and 32°C degrees / 59°F and 90°F.
- Work overtime if required.
- Occasional travel may be required to support other datacenter locations.
